The objective of the session is to unravel opportunities for Indian SMEs in Germany, especially while working with German Mittelstand. Discussions will focus on what are the challenges German companies face with rapid digitalisation, where can Indian IT companies develop solutions and how to harvest cooperation potentials in the software sector while promoting a Co-create regime between India and Germany.

Deliberations will further dwell on challenges that Indian companies might face while working with German companies and how to overcome them.

The Indo German Digital Dialogue is headed by the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport and the Indian Ministry for Electronics and Information Technology.

Immediate Objective:

1. Provide IND SMEs with a better understanding of the GER Mittelstand ecosystem and their digital transformation journey but also the challenges they face
2. Give GER Mittelstand representatives international exposure

Long term Objective:

1. Strengthen cooperation between NASSCOM and BVMW
2. Connect Indian and German SMEs
3. Support in forming business and cluster relations - creating synergies between India/Germany MNCs and SMEs
